Don is a financial expert who has been committed to helping our schools
Here is what Don would bring to the Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education:
Financial Expertise:

Professionally, he leads the Risk Advisory Services Practice at Rehmann, a national CPA and advisory firm based in Michigan.

He helps organizations gain insights on their financial, operational, and IT processes in order to identify and mitigate risks.
PTO involvement:

Don collaborated with other citizens to pass multiple millages, which have been and will be critical to the success of the public schools.

Don and his wife have four children spanning the ages of three to eighteen — all have attended or will attend the Ann Arbor public schools.

He has held numerous positions in school and district-wide PTOs, including “Treasurer Training Expert.”

Don has also been an avid volunteer in the classroom, DECA, Science Olympiad, and Rec & Ed.

Don served on the Board of a non-profit focused on special education.

Don has been involved in programs for under-represented minorities. This plays out in both his personal and professional life, including sharing his culture with the community and mentoring students and young professionals.
